For Aida Marta Ramirez, immigration law is not just a profession, it is a calling. In 1978, her parents immigrated to the United States. Ms. Ramirez saw firsthand how difficult it can be start a new life in another country. She also saw how rewarding it can be. As an immigration lawyer, she is dedicated to making the immigration process simpler so that all immigrants can reap the benefits of starting over in a new place.

Ms. Ramirez is Colombian-American and speaks fluent Spanish. She graduated from the University of Florida with a B.A. in Political Science. She then attended the Florida Coastal School of Law where she received her Juris Doctorate. While there, she received a certificate for legal research, writing and drafting. This certificate allowed Ms. Ramirez to hone her legal analysis, legal writing and oral argumentation, making her uniquely qualified to zealously advocate for her clients’ best interests in her family immigration law practice.

During her time in law school, she was a three-time National Moot Court Champion. She won the National Latino Law Students Association Moot Court Competition, the Child Welfare and Adoption Law Moot Court Competition, and the Charleston National Constitutional Law Moot Court Competition.

Ms. Ramirez is a member of the Florida Bar, United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida, the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), the AILA Central Florida Chapter, and the Florida Bar Young Lawyers Division. In addition to family immigration law, she specializes in deportation removal defense, business immigration and employment immigration.
